Yep! Apparently it's violent conduct, happened off the ball, so ticks the FA requirement for retrospective punishment. Big late now though and frankly Norwich need a full team to help us!

Good decision probably, but agree with Flyer.

Why not scrap the Evra Suarez one too then? Just couldn't wait to see that one blow up could they.

Smacks of favouritism towards Terry to me.

Just wait until all the divs at Chelshit start booing Ferdinand. I will piss myself. They are sooooooo thick that they think he is the guilty party instead of that scum bag chavvy ****ish ****y **** Terry!

    This.

It's all rather ridiculuous in this day and age of 'simulation', feigned injury, the 'professional foul' and players brandishing invisible cards. Twenty-two ****s performing a faux sporting gesture before 90 minutes of how can I bend the rules, deceive the officials, maim an opponent or fabricate a situation to my advantage. It's all ****. And goodnight.

Maybe the fact the Evra Suarez one ended up getting all the headlines instead of the game is why they don't want a repeat of it. QPR players ignore Terry, Terry's team mates see this and (some or all) ignore QPR players, ends up being a complete waste of time.

But they scrapped the handshake in our FA Cup game with them, then let the Evra/Suarez one go ahead afterwards if I'm not mistaken. No consistency.

The FA scrapped the handshake before the Cup game. The Premier League insisted that it go ahead in the Utd - Liverpool Prem game. The difference with next Sundays game is that the Suarez case was finished, whereas Terry's is not, and the handshake has been dropped on 'legal advice', after much dithering and self contradiction.
So the FA actually come out better than the EPL on this one.
We have two governing bodies - the FA for the FA Cup and the general laws of the game, England etc, and the EPL which is only interested in the administration and finances of the premiership. Of course it's way too much to expect them to be consistent!

Not true, it was decided before both games that there would be no Ferdinand handshake and that Evra should do it.

Was going to add what was said above. With the Terry case still active and court proceedings still to happen having a handshake is just not viable. Maybe they should just all walk infront of each other and stick their tongues out :)

What I mean in the previous post is that the fact they didn't shake hands when asked (evra suarez) overshadowed the game. If we were to get a win on Sunday I'd rather be reading about that then the fact terry Ferdinand ignored each other.

Terry could run down the back of the QPR line-up kneeing each player in the back, after all it seems to be his calling-card...

I've never seen this photo before. How come whenever we do these things it's spotted but when it's against us no one notices/gives a rat's arse.
