I know a lot of the stuff said on these sites are mainly hype and total garbage but a couple today have made me sit up and ask questions. What do you think? 1. Lee Johnson in the running for the Fulham job after Ranieri's sacking. 2. West Brom players will get huge bonuses if the get promoted. 10 million??? My answers would be why on earth would Lee want to leave the safe environs of Ashton Gate other than personal ambitions? On the second gossip it makes me wonder if those kind of offerings go beyond the FFP rules, and if they are, would Bristol City ever be able and willing to offer those kinds of incentives? I rather tend to think that the first gossip is a bit out there, and the second makes me wonder how much parachute payments are part of the mix at West Brom if the rumour is true.
I saw the LJ rumour as well and thought the same as you. If he goes to Fulham he will be still managing a Championship team again next season and have to start building a new team again, albeit with the help of parachute payments. Of course, money talks and a substantial increase in his salary may tempt him but I hope not. We are still a task in progress and improving year on year, though more slowly than many wish.
Surely not, there isn't a Lansdown or Johnson on the board at Fulham and apparently nobody without those surnames will employ him, or at least that is what I recall many on here saying not so long ago...........
