I was never champion of europe as there wasnt such a thing, I did race with a guy who got on top gear because he was so good. http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/geek-rebooted-2010-11-26 No need to be so sarcy either, time of the month?
You can't beat 'em Matt . I can still recall the sound of that tape recorder now. As a kid I used to spend 8 hours inputting all these numbers using that rubber keyboard, just so I could see a stick man walk across the screen ( I use 'walk' in the loosest sense of the word. Oh happy days !!
Its on the IT Crowd DVD which put a smile on my face, 95% of people probably havent a clue what it is but the other 5% loved it.
Still one of my favourite games of all time, I had an Amiga and loved it. PC games now mainly FPS BF3 mainly though playing a bit of Planetside 2 as well, just no time any more. Just as i get started I have to take the trash out\paint a wall\ fix a thingy etc.
I liked the fact that you could wipe off someones score, I was good at any game that required hits like speedball or the NHL series but I was never any good at FIFA because I always ended up with 7 men.
Think we lived parellel lives in the early 80's staines, i had copies of sinclair user piled high in my bedroom to copy all those programs from, they never bloody worked either !!
PS3 - nickname: supahoopz Play FIFA 13 99% of the time. The other 1% I play the Uncharted series, fantastic games which I play more the months before a new FIFA release. Always love manager games, all the way back to "One Nil" on the Commodore 64. Loved the Footballer of the Year series too on C64. Later I had the Amiga 500 and we used to set up Sensible Soccer tournaments, wonderful times. And before the Championship manager/football manager days me and my mate run a Play-by-Mail manager game from my PC (old 486). He later used his computer skills to something usefull and started programming and creating the first games for mobile phones. Recently sold his company for £4 million that dirty b******
thank you Northy, not been to well for a few months, been in a really dark place, i can now see some light at last! amazing what a little white tablet can do for you.
Play PC games mainly these days, things like Battlefield3, Diablo3 and FM sometimes. Back in the good old days I used to wittle away the time on the Master System, MegaDrive and Dreamcast. Games like Shinobi, Sonic, the early Fifa's, Virtua Soccer and ISS on the N64. Also Mario Kart and Mario Party on the gamecube, happy days!
Forgot about that, me too, although stopped again recently. Also forgot Tiger Woods on the Wii, great game and great fun.
Tiger Woods used to be great for a day on the p***. Me and a mate used to play it on the mega drive for 16 hours solid for £1 a hole/£10 a round consuming vast amounts of alcohol throughout the day. By the end we could hardly see the screen, let alone hit the ball.
Yea don't play golf for real or even watch it, but the games are good. Played a darts one on the Xbox kinect thing the other week after a night out, couldn't hit the double
