BBC London 94.9 was slagging off the QPR fans shortly after todayâs match. However I feel we have every right to be upset with todayâs performance. Although I must say it was a slight improvement from last match - we were still exposed, defense was shocking, especially Hall. I think he must have won about 2 out of the twenty odd headers that came his way. I felt that the style of play was wrong today, Blackburn were giants and we couldnât win many headers, so why are we booting out goal kicks all the way up the pitch every time when we clearly canât win most of them. At times however I thought we played well and looked like we could take the lead, the ref was completely against us and booked us too many times and didnât enforce the same on their appalling tackles. Overall the game was a disappointment but we end the week in 10th place - canât complain about that can we!?
just saying that we didnt support the team enough and we were groaning and moaning at the defence and mistakes that were made.
I thought we got behind the team pretty well, of course there were periods of disquiet and frustration. The performance on the pitch didn't help. I think it was a sense of realisation by the fans that things aren't going the way we had hoped.
I was looking at the match on the internet and did think to myself a couple of times that the crowd were not behind the team enough, but as I was not there it is easy to get a distorted point of view.
