Right I am having a bash at the students favourite pastime, flavouring vodka.

I dont usually drink vodka, not since I was younger and ended up sick off it ( never tasted the same after that ) but my 3 sample flavours look and smell amazing. Eve a little taste test gets the thumbs up.

I am doing Werthers, skittles ( full bag, no separating, I like skittles mixed ) and rhubarb and custard.

I plan to make more, maybe try different spirits aswell over time and especially in the run up to Christmas and New Year. Might ever send a few bottles of the Werthers one as gifts.

So like the wtf shall I have for dinner thread, this is a place to discuss what you are drinking, making to drink or get ideas.

Have fun and remember, dont drink and type <ok>

Rhubarb and custard one tastes immense. All dissolved, waiting for it to to cool, then filter before it goes in the freezer.

Might go get some cheap vodka from asda and make more later, used russian standard this time, £20 a bottle aswell.

In my fridge I've got a load of Kronenburg and a few Cidre's but tonight I'm having a couple of Badgers Poachers Choice ales and will have some Pinot Noir red wine with tea.

Love a Talisker single malt if in the mood!

Get some vodka and mix it with Iron Bru. Awesome.

EDIT: Rekorderlig (sp) is a nice cider, I'd agree there.

Quite a fan of Jaeger myself.

Really well. I havent drank vodka neat in years but this was going down well. Had to be ice cold. Ended up going to the garage and buying some more drinks as well and KFC for a large popcorn chicken <laugh>. Got two more flavours in the cupboard that take a little longer but got some right ideas for new flavours.

I shoved it on my status last night so now I know what everyone is getting for christmas, had a list of everyones favourite sweets <laugh>

Havana Club Rum is top stuff for a Cuba Libre (Rum and Coke with ice and lime).

Penderyn Whiskey is also good stuff neat.

We've a cider over here called Frosty Jack's, not sure if you all have it.

Tesco do it for £3.40, two litres - 7 percent. Lethal (but gooooood).

Yeah, Penderyn is nice but I think it's overpriced down here and it isn't better than the Scottish ones, which tend to be cheaper. Ripping off tourists really.

They've got their own gin and vodka too I think, not that I've tried them.
