AFC Wimbledon visit Milton Keynes today in the FA cup in possibly the strangest meeting of any two teams in the history of the game. Both teams claim the history of Wimbledon. One of them retained their league share and official lineage whilst the other retained the support, adopted the name and proximity to the old club (although I an sure Kngstonians supporters are less than pleased). A fascinating tie and no mistakin'. Who will you be lending your support to in this intriguing tie?
I doubt they are MK Dons fans =- they probably just get sick and tired of the constant sanctimony and general ****ing mopery of so many others about this issue.
****s sake, am meant to be there. Got the first train, meant to change at Harrow and Wealdstone. I did, got on the train to MK then realised I'd lost the ****ing tickets, had to go back to H&W to look but they'd disappeared, eventually came back home. ****e.
I try to get down to as many AFC games with a pal as I can when QPR aren't playing or have a ****e away day. Most AFC fans I know are good lads, I know you might think they're toffs but lets face it football fans (proper ones) hardly ever are.
I was taking the piss and you're right. I justy get a bit sick of all the "it's not fair, MK Dons are the devil incarnate" etc. etc. Very selective indignation if you sak me as other clubs end up in the ****e and nobody gives a toss.
I know, but it is a sad representation of modern football. Everything about MK as a city and a club is so plastic and strange. I also don't get how their fans criticise AFC for poor attendance when they had a non league team in their city which no one supported and disappeared when MK dons came in.
