He's simply not a good enough keeper. Foakes should have come in for Pope. it's not even a difficult call.

 

I really hopes that Moeen contributes something substantial with the bat or ball. Because picking him ahead of Foakles right now...

 

This is just stubbornness now. Everyone lnows Foakes should be playing.

If Bairstow takes that catch off of Head, this would have been a sensational first session. (Even with the drop, it's still excellent.)

 

Yes, but then Smith wouldn't be back in the pavilion.

 

Dharmasena is comfortably the best umpire in the world. He very rarely gets it wrong.

Why can't we catch???

 

For me, it's the drops and the no-balls which are the main reason for us being 2-0 down, not because of Bazball.

(Not having our best attack on the field for those two tests hasn't helped either.)
