I suppose if there's one crumb of comfort, it's that we can't look back any instances earlier in the season of where we stupidly let a bonus point slip. Due to the unusual format this season, only six matches ultimately contribute to our D1 score. So far we've taken 13 out of the 15 bowling points (with the final two to hopefully come tomorrow), so we've been perfect on that front. And the closest we've been to an extra batting point is 24 runs (last week vs Notts) - which is basically only half way to the next point. It's not like we've ever been bowled out 4 runs short, or run out of our 110 overs. The fact though that two of those six scores were 79 and 89 - with a 143 and 163 thrown in for good measure - well, just awful...
Don't bowl there Overton, grr! Have got both live streams open but seems a bit jumpy, doesn't keep them both running concurrently, have to keep pushing them back to 'live'...
Notts are now out of the title race, assuming there's a winner, one way or the other, in the Hampshire match.
Having two spells of Barker and Abbas at the start of Warks innings over the two days couldn't have worked out better. If we can get a nice little lead maybe we can bat them out of the game and our 3 spinners will come into play in their second innings.
This is an annoying partnership between Croft and Vilas. Warwickshire are 9 down but Briggs is back on strike. 28 required for them off 23 balls.
