Welll done Somerset. Let´s hope all the gods finally smiling on you and you are crowned County Champions. If it happens it will be one of the sweetest sporting moments in your life, Chilcs.

    Congrats chilcs

Woeful performance by Kent, embarrassing batting in both innings but with the amount of time Somerset had today, they took their opportunity really well.

My parents are meant to be going to the game at the Rose Bowl tomorrow, they were at the game earlier in the week that got cancelled so I hope they get to see a match tomorrow.

Still plenty of games to go. Hampshire off to Essex on Sunday where the forecast is thankfully ok. You don't play so we can apply the pressure with a win.

England win by 8 wickets with 101 balls left.

Great for our NRR, we’re now 2nd above Australia :)

Looks like Vince will be playing Tuesday - at least one of Roy and Morgan surely won't play.

Although very unlikely, it's possible that Dawson might get a chance too. Apparently we ear marked the Afghanistan game as a chance to rest Wood and Rashid (presumably for Curran and Moeen), so if we continue with that and also have to replace Roy and Morgan, then Vince and Daws are in. But realistically I imagine we'd rather shelve our plans than make four changes.

I'm suffering with sun burn today. Stupid weather yesterday.

Windies should have beaten them, certainly. Tempting fate I agree, but Starc and Cummins aren’t all that quick really. They do have good batsmen though!

It is a shame that he matches are not screened live on BBC. The Channel 5 highlights are on too late.
