Today is the day! All promotion and relegation issues will be sorted out along with the play off contenders. It is hopefully going to be quite an amazing afternoon and with the games being played before the PL kicks off we can all focus on these important issues. Of course there are a handful of clubs that are not involved with either end, you know those dull washed-up nothing clubs such as Leeds, Middlesbrough, Derby etc although the first two may have a say on who goes up or down. I have not seen the live games schedule yet but guessing there must be at least 2 or 3 games to choose from. All things Championship can be discussed here - well those teams that have anything to play for other than pride
Will Leicester sneak back in to the play offs after screwing the last 2 months up?? As bad as they have been they can still do it today but I suspect they will not beat Forest who are also looking to jump above Bolton and Palace in the top 6. Really is going to be a hell of a day at both ends. I am really up for the Championship today - football drama all the way
Here are the games I have found that will be streamed later Hull City vs Cardiff City Watford vs Leeds United Crystal Palace vs Peterborough United I want Posh to stay up so will probably watch that one.
Yeah, I'd like Peterborough to survive too, and ideally Sheffield Wednesday. So I think that sends Barnsley down with Wolves.
The Huddersfield v Barnsley game is massive one and I'm surprised its not on the box Is like to see both Barnsley & posh stay up so that leaves Millwall and the already down Wolves to take the last 2 spots
Although it was already near as certain that Wolves would go down today, it looks like the non-required conformation is going to happen with Brighton taking an early lead.
and Barnsley go 1 up - Posh back in 22nd place now. If Peterborough can score then Millwall are in serious trouble and to think just 7 games ago they were in touching distance of the play off places
I think it might be but it could yet end up with 56 or even 57 points not being enough if results are mad enough .....................AND..................if.........................Ipswich lose today and 57 points goes down, they will have escaped relegation by 1 win, and depending on which team went down on 57 points, maybe by only 2 or 3 goals difference! So for all the bluster coming from the south, they have not been that good (very few teams have been in all honesty).
Yes, even by Championship standards, this has been a crazy season down there. I mean, Ipswich may finish in the top half! How weird can you get?
