yes i did as if bates had not come in we might not have a club now ! dont forget leeds were a 140 million in debt when bates bought it and after a few years he brought that debt down to zero and a profit after , nobody else has done that for leeds all everyone else has done is take money out ! i suppose you are a supporter of risdale ? and dont forget at least we got into play offs under bates !
I doubt if he ever put anything into the club but he sure as hell took money out. Lots of it legally and otherwise. Any one of us could have done the same if we had a team of bent lawyers and accountants to advise us
I know what your saying BUT bates was a very good business man and knew he could pull it off and get the debt wiped off i say well done to get rid of the debt , dont forget no debt makes leeds a very attractive propersition to a takeover and although i dont think cellino is a complete fit he is the only one we have got at moment . lets hope the players put their backs into it this season if they dont put them on transfer list and get some hungry players in
