i wish we knew if he fitted in or not. rodgers seems to be developing a consistent approach where if you are key he's out licking hole (see talk about suarez and lucas) and if you are not he's very non commital. carroll has actually gotten worse from rodgers than aquilani or others but then he's rowed back slightly in his more recent comments so god knows right now if we're waiting ofr a decent offer and worse we are dependent on getting a big offer to then buy anyone... OR we are still examining players and rodgers will make his moves when the time comes. who knows... about 5 weeks to go to get a picture.

The BBC are claiming Carroll has been left out the squad. They then suggest that he is likely to join Newcastle as this means he won't be cup-tied but, in the same article, they also say: Doesn't that sort of ruin their own article...?
