Don't forget that the clocks go back an hour tonight, although some seem to wish they could reset them to 1950 GMT
Morning all. Cold and cloudy, with rain in the air. As it is so unappealing outside I must set to and sort my filing out. One of those jobs that can only be put off for so long, and judging by the heap I have put it off for too long. I think I will put on some quiet soothing music while I tackle it and see if it makes it easier.
Greetings all.. The fates were with us yesterday even though Mlle missed goal number three. In Leeds this morning buying her new glasses as she can barely see the game.. Her glasses broke weeks ago and she only seems to have money for meals out and cocktails! Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Funny old day. Too much work. But I did watch the last 35 mins of Man Utd vs Everton. Funny the thought I'm watching these two thinking no matter what the result we'll still be above them.
I must say I was pleased to see our erstwhile coach lose. It can be very satisfying when such things happen.
Afternoon all. Grey and damp, so Mme's car refused to start. She hasn't used it for a couple of weeks, and the battery had gone flat. Suggested that having now got it running she might take it out for a trip. Hopefully it will behave as she needs it tomorrow.
It seems that the server went down overnight, but back up again now. Morning all from a chilly and windy rural France. Looks as if there could be sunshine and showers during the day. I quite like the lighter mornings, but with it getting dark so early, the evenings seem long.
Yup at 4am I thought I'd beaten Dave to it. Typed a nice victory message - and then couldn't post. I'll win one day Incredible wet day here but was cheered up by my sexy uniformed police chica who completed my residency status. Worth getting soaked for Just hope the day finishes well with the Canaries thrashing Yournmouth in the cup. Sing you Canaries
Goodnight Dave. Back to 1-1 and all the canaries at the moment. Sad there is no visual. Spoke too soon. Back to 2-1. C'mon u' Canaries Good news Pukki is on the bench. Well even bringing on the scoring guns didn“t work. But the league awaits.
Mornin' all. Well last night didn't go to plan but seems the Canaries made a good showing. And Pukki is back if not quite on fire yet. But he only had 15 mins at most Here dry but still cloudy. And much fresher. Nothing like an autumn day in Weston or Yorkshire of course. But enough to gather some of the log sellers pricelists they stick on the lampposts. This year: pine, eucalyptus, Olive roots (they burn a treat), olive tree, holm oak, or most expensive Ligada (which means "linked" but I have no idea what that is in terms of wood). This year between 75 and 130 Euros per 1000 kilos. Includes delivery and they stack it (much better than I could) for you. Well time to strain the chicken stock and get it in the fridge. Then onwards and upwards. Enjoy one and all
