Went to a massive wedding yesterday, needless to say suffering today.

Waiting for the wife to arise, so we can get some decent brekky.

    Feel yesterday´s point was undeserved.

Rather sad to see that Jimmy Perry has died today. I met him once or twice when he was, along with his wife Gilda running the Palace Theatre in Watford. He had a great rep company, some of whom appeared in the TV programs he wrote with David Croft. An afternoon at the Vic, tea in the High Street, and an evening in the Palace was a splendid way to spend an afternoon with the person who I married, and still puts up with me.

Morning all, very heavy rain overnight and lighter stuff this morning. Going to see if the plastering done last week is dry enough to start painting. I was glad to give the shoulder a rest over the weekend.

An stunning day up here today - blue skies, bright sunshine abound. Shame it's only 9C though...

Am off out for my mile-a-day walk soon...

Good morning, dave; good morning, all. :)

Red, red wine. Dreadful song. Are the effects of the song or what it represents worse? :emoticon-0175-drunk

Morning all, bright and sunny with just a little mist in the valley below. Time to get going on that house. I wish there was some gentle heating where I am working as the plaster could dry out a little quicker. It was warmer outside yesterday. Should have opened the doors and windows.

It's the incorrect use of colour that I object to - red wine isn't actually red, just as white wine isn't actually white. White people aren't white, the sea isn't blue, I've never seen anyone turn green - with envy or sea-sickness, red Indians aren't red and quite why bad moods are blue is beyond me...

Oh - and good morning. :)

True. I've turned red with embarrassment.
Besides, I'm colour blind, so it's all bollocks as far as I'm concerned. ;)

Good morning, Dave; good morning, everyone. :)
You got a cheer from Matej and I last night, Dave. :) Seb was fast asleep. Then what happened? <doh>
Oh, and thanks for that bank letter for our new self-certain mortgage - looks very convincing. <ok>

Did you do the plastering yourself, ofh? Impressive. Never done it but would love to.

No, my skills do not extend that far. The plasterer is a young English guy who is very good at it, when he is there. Trouble is that he has moved in with the girl friend and seems to have other things to keep him occupied.
