Good morning, Dave; morning, all. :)

Too dark to see what the weather's like, and I'm listening to the second part of Sherlock Holmes' 'Valley of Fear', so can't hear any other clues.

Never feel comfortable playing Bournemouth, but all the stats say it's ours. More worried by that.

Morning all from a drying Jersey - we had a downpour last night. On Monday morning, jerzeypie went to England as part of a Princes Trust course and was supposed to return yesterday. His original flight from Southampton was cancelled, so they were then due to come back on the later one that then got cancelled. Apparently he should be back around lunchtime, but it's not easy to fit a group of 27 (I think he said that there was that many) on a plane at short notice.

I just tried to book flights for coming over at Xmas. L*t*n wasn't an option, as flights only go there until the end of this month. This left Gatwick as my only option, as a relatively close airport, with BA and EasyJet as the airlines. BA had the more expensive flights, but whichever one I went with it was going to cost over £500 for 3 of us, and I'm certainly not paying that, so I'm staying here.

Does that have anything to do with Brexit or were EasyJet stopping the service anyway?

Absolute deluge here this morning, though it's looking brighter now. Flying to Malaga on Monday, then on to Cordoba and Granada for a week and hope the rain doesn't follow us.

I have boxes of WFC programmes in the loft going back to probably 1983 or 1984. We're contemplating moving and I'm thinking of disposing of them rather than sticking them in the next loft we move to! There are probably several hundred, though I haven't counted...certainly enough to make posting them anywhere expensive. It seems a shame to bin them. If anyone has any other suggestions, do let me know!

Don't bin them, at the very least you can flog them on eBay and get a good whack for them. Or donate them to another fan. But don't bin. It's primary source history and strangely there's some funny buggers like that sort of thing. <whistle>

Are they tarting up the airport? I know the idea of tarting up any part of Luton could be likened to polishing a turd, but I thought I'd heard that somewhere.

My boxes of programmes date back to the 60's and have moved house with me about 10 times now - never been able to get rid of them.
    Have a great holiday.

Sure you've read these, Dave, but interesting 'Match Facts' for your game later:
    • Wolves are unbeaten in their last 13 league meetings with Norwich City at Molineux.
    • Norwich have scored at least twice in five of their last six league contests with Wolves, having netted 14 in the process.
    • Wolves have lost just one of their last 12 league games at Molineux.
    • Norwich conceded in the 95th and 96th minutes to lose 4-3 against Newcastle on Wednesday night.
    • The Canaries have gone seven Championship fixtures without a clean sheet.
Hmmm. Here's hoping you do the business. <ok>

When I emigrated to Oz back in 1970, I took my programme and record collections with me, all packed safely into a trunk. Unfortunately, the trunk was broken into somewhere en route - all the programmes disappeared along with the bulk of my mint condition Elvis, Beatles, Dylan and Moody Blues albums. The only things the thief left were my Nirvana and Aphrodite's Child albums - rotten bastard had no taste...

It's a "summer only" service, which means it'll start up again in March sometime.

The service by Condor Ferries has been so **** this year that even the report from their internal investigation condemned them.

You'd think they would do a high days and holidays service too wouldn't you?
