Morning all from a drab and overcast Bandit Country - hanging badly this morning and wondering how to lift my mood. Perhaps a couple of hours down the gym to sweat off the beer will do it!

Morning all, bright and sunny day here with the little cloud that was above my head slowly fading into the mass of previously disappointing clouds. Think that some sun on my back will cheer me up.

Exercise bike, lower body weight session and an hour on the stepper - just about recovered. Maybe a frothy coffee and then make some veggie soup with all the left over veggies.

Just back from Wembley and was greeted with a snowstorm - not the best of ways to round off a disappointing weekend.

As others have said, it's not the best of stadiums, a soulless monstrosity - and I for one don't intend on ever returning there for any reason.

I learnt that one 19 years ago when I backed us when we were favourites to win what is now League 1 - as there's hardly any interest in that league here I got longer odds than I would in the UK. The problem was we finished mid-table and won it the following year.

I missed out on 3/1 but took 15/8 x2 for opening a new account (so just under 4/1 ) with one 2 to beat to good to miss out . then before the leeds game they was giving us 12/1 to get to the final

Not even for our 2018 Champions League Final victory? Shame.

Morning, Dave; morning, all. It's light, curtains are drawn, birds are tweeting (always on their bloody mobiles, that lot), wife is... "sleeping heavily" (not 'snoring', she doesn't snore, she's told me), children are giggling downstairs conspiratorially (either making an unholy mess or planning an exceptionally interesting death for me).

    Life is sweet. <ok>

Morning all, early start today as Mme has to visit the vampire for a blood test, not that there is much wrong with her, they just like to keep the labs busy. Nothing for her to eat or drink beforehand, so I have stolen down to have a cuppa out of her sight.

Morning all from a bright and sunny, but very chilly West West London. Another frost to scrape off the car this morning...

I understand that The Sun has an injunction against it revealing the name of a PL manager who has been caught sending intimate texts to a women who is not his wife...guess who the smart money is betting on?

With a capacity crowd in attendance, that would probably be even worse than Sunday. The 'stewarding' was worse than useless, and trying to get out of & away from the stadium was a bloody nightmare. A lot of the crowd headed for Wembley Park station - and the police in their wisdom held them up for 10 minute blocks of time, to ease congestion in the station. Giving no thought whatsoever to anyone who didn't want to go the station...
