Took Mme to an evening game against Swindon. It was dreadful, the ball stayed in the middle third of the pitch for the whole 90 minutes. It is games like that that make you appreciate the good times.
Three matches to play Ísland lead Turkey by 9 and Holland by 8. We play Kasakstan and Lettland in Reykjavík so we should get two points. Turkey meet Holland sunday. Tekkland is two points behind and meet Holland for match 10.

Morning all, bright and sunny here, but a much fresher feeling to the morning than of late. The test masts that were erected a year ago to gauge the strength of the wind have been removed, so now we wait and see if wind turbines are likely to be erected here. The next commune had their results last year and the inspector said that there was not enough wind to make them viable. I cannot see that we are any different, but despite the fact that we are one of the two least windy spots in the whole country there are still landowners who could profit by having them on their land and would like to see them. One town that I passed through recently has just had nine erected on the hill overlooking it and they completely dominant the view across a traditional sleepy French landscape. The rules here allow for them to be erected only 500 metres from a dwelling, a lot closer than in the UK. Having tried to obtain as much data as possible to make a judgement, I have come to the conclusion that they are very poor value for money and will not have the good environmental benefits some claim.
Good morning to everyone who did go to bed last night, We are still here. More Martins Indi was silly to get sent off for punching Kolbein Sigþórsson in his face. To me the two footballers fell over and rolled, Martins Indis arm touched Kolbein Sigþórsson on the face. There was more contact for this than Fernando Forestieri had in Wolverhampton.

Morning all, no football today to get in the way of helping Mme with the reorganization of her garden. Think she tries to keep me in reasonable nick so that I can do the heavy stuff for her. The WO that for so many years was the only outlet for Watford news seems to be finding it difficult to keep up with some of the new forms of communication.
