Morning all, bright and breezy in rural France today, but rain forecast this afternoon. Yesterday lots of physical effort and today the brain is called to attempt to work at my French class. I feel that I am a bit like my favourite football team. Sometimes the brain turns up and other times it goes missing. :emoticon-0138-think

    ditto

French class starts a new term for me tonight.... needless to say I walked there for my class last week.... only to find it was still vacation <oh>

I think the scrambled brain scenario seems to increase with age....

Came across this small item which I prefer not to comment on. <yikes>

Icelandic brewery Stedji, which is producing the beer in time for the country’s mid-winter festival, Thorri, said the Hvalur 2 beer was made with the testicles of fin whales - which are classified as endangered on the conservation Red List - smoked in a “traditional way” with dried sheep dung.

Sky is now almost pitch black with a massive thunder storm and pouring rain - this has been the strangest winter weather than I can remember.

Spot on Andy - I start with the normal response to put another jumper on!

<laugh> My normal response is "Put some bloody clothes on!" How many times do I find my kids in nothing but pants complaining "I'm freezing!" ? <doh> <laugh>

Dear flatpack bathroom cabinet diagram designer,

Dowels are the funny little wooden things; screws are the metal ones with the threads. Furthermore, they are different sizes. Therefore object a does not go in hole b and object j does not go in hole k.

p.s. have you ever tried assembling your own furniture?

Evening all, got my laptop back now and so far, so good. Wish I could say the same about me - I have a heavy cold and I'm tired because I woke up 3 hours before my alarm was due to go off and I couldn't get back to sleep.
