Thanks for the tea, Ak. Thought I'd pop in to announce that building work has started this morning at home, all to do with making our dear old Edwardian semi a bit less of an obstacle course for me in my wheelchair. It'll be brilliant when it's done, but we're in for eight weeks upheaval (at least). Builders seem totally clued up to my situation, and concerned not to make any difficulties for me, so that's encouraging. They also showed up at 7.58 for an 8 am start. Good so far....
Morning all. Sorry to start the day with a sad news item: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29419219 I hope the Greek FA were consulted by their Government first, otherwise Blatter would probably interpret it as Government interference in the FA and try and punish them.

Good morning all from a dry and very warm Weston-super-Mare! Congratulations on your win last night! Have a good day!
Morning all from a sunny and warm rural France. Have I missed anything while I have been away? Had a good trip over, even if as most people I know living here will tell you, one does come back with coughs and colds. Brought back half a rich fruit cake from our anniversary celebrations, so if you would like some with your drinks this morning you will be welcome.
Overcast morning in the Deen but expecting a bright and sunny day, off to knock seven bells out of a little white ball around 18 holes of turf in the afternoon...
