I have been reading the comments from one of our fans who went to Charlton. He has been complaining about the non-view he had of the game from his wheelchair. He is proposing to write to every club chairman in the Premier and Football League asking them to borrow a chair and see what sort of problems they have getting to the reserved area, how they would get out in case of an accident and what sort of view they had. He uses the area at the Vic in the GT stand without problems and has a great view, but doesn't think that many clubs are as helpful. At Charlton matters were made worse for him by our fans standing in front of him. After my short period in a wheelchair I would support him in every way. Wheelchairs, despite efforts made over the past 15 years are still badly catered for.

A beer tent in a football ground, what on earth is that about? Used to see them at cricket grounds, but never at a football ground.

Google is telling me that this site is under attack from Malware and not to use it until the offending items have been removed. Strangely there is no such message from IE.

It's probably because an image linked on here was hosted on a site that contains malware, there's nothing to worry about <ok>

btw - I'm getting the same message on IE and chrome, but my Kaspersky has not detected any threats!

Well that is the car cleaned inside and out ready to head north. 29°C here this afternoon so I anticipate it will cooler when I reach Sussex tomorrow.

Phoned the clubs ticket office to tell them that I hadn't received my tickets for Saturday. Man tells me that they don't send them abroad anymore, so collect them from the ticket office. If they had said that in the first place...... never mind. It will be good to get back into the real atmosphere again.

I will be the man with a beret and a string of onions sitting in the LGT stand. The Bordeaux will be in a Ribena plastic bottle. ;)
