Morning all, cloudy here at present, but dry. Sun forecast for later. Ligue 2 play their matches here on a Friday evening, and there is a pay service to watch any of the games that are being played. Of course that means that you can pick up streams via your computer and last night I was having a browse and found that a game from Corsica had an English commentary. That in itself seems odd, but then I thought I know that voice. Sure it was our very own Jon Marks. They also have something called Multiplex where they hop around from one game to another, and show all the goals almost as soon as they happen. All the commentaries on that are in French, so I did wonder if I was hearing things. Went back to the game from Corsica and found that the stream had been blocked. I guess that the original one had Jon in a studio somewhere in England doing a stint for a betting company or such like. The FL are trialing a service where they are showing HD streams to clubs when their club is playing away from home, the idea being that fans will go to their home ground to watch. So far I believe that only a few clubs have taken up the service. I am not sure that it will take off, but what do you think?
Mrs GG is drinking for two these days. It's not that I'm not allowed, I just don't feel like it much. HOW WEIRD IS THAT??!! I can usually mangae one pint or one glass of wine. More just messes with my meds. Gone are the days of driving back from hols in France with the car down on its springs cos of the weight of cases of wine. The old girl puts it away though, but probably won't feel like it tonight after losing to Norwich at home.
