Having a stroll around the ‘Brunswick Festival’ round the corner. Very @PINKIE Obligatory stall with a Palestine flag cos Brighton but interested to see the ‘Brighton Cuba Solidarity’ group. Bet they do some important work. Proper hippy nonsense mainly. Was drawn to the jerk chicken van but the prices are taking the piss. Going home to watch Southampton v Ipswich.
My two teenagers who came with us this year want to go to Greece next year. Yet have moaned about the heat in France this past week. So, Portugal it will be instead!
Anyway, am now in Plymouth having left Biscay. The sea is calm. Just had a nap, am about to load up with wine, gin and fragrances and take them down to the vehicle. Paid for some WiFi, although they did have the City game on yesterday so hopefully they'll have a match on in the bar in a bit. This is day one of a booze free week. Will also be kicking bread.
Stay strong brother... this is me right now ... ... mind you ... well deserved ... been out the front pulling weeds up from the gravel and trimming wisteria and pyracantha for the last couple of hours ... and it's ****ing sweltering... but I've been promising to do it all summer and I can't take any more nagging
Well I've got no choice today at least, got a four hour drive once we get to Pompey. Just remembered next weekend is a BH weekend, so no doubt the booze free week will amount to about five days, tops.
Just say your Teams is playing up and log off. None of it matters. I’ve got three weeks left in the current job so hopefully line up something to start in six weeks or so and have some time off in reasonable weather. Or just be unemployed and see my money dwindle.
