Two blokes watching a John Wayne film. First bloke says "I bet you £50 at the end John Wayne falls off his horse." Second bloke says "It's John Wayne ffs, no chance that's happening, you're on" Good as gold it gets to the last scene, JW does indeed fall off his horse. Second bloke is shocked and goes to hand over his losses when the first bloke says "I gotta admit I knew he was gonna fall off, I've seen the film before." Second bloke replies "I gotta admit, I've seen it before as well, but I didn't think the **** would do it again!"
No **** Film review sites are generally ****e imo. I’ve sat through numerous Sky films that were 4 & 5 star rated and they were absolute beans.
If you take an average from the main ones IMDB and RT you get a fair idea if it's worth watching and that film isn't doing well in those two or any others. It might be watchable but I don't think it's going to be anything special.
I'll probably watch it at some point, sometimes a film gets panned universally but then some people just like it. There was a film called The Councillor that got savaged by the critics, I loved it.
I watched the Bundy film Friday morning. It was OK, wouldn't say it was great. It's got that fella from the Big Bang theory in it and I always find it quite difficult to watch actors go from comedy shows to straight acting (no pun intended as I know he's gay).
Cornwall is well dodgy. @PISKIE https://news.sky.com/story/woman-di...orse-costume-at-padstow-celebrations-11711262
That Obby Oss stuff is some dark druid stuff that goes way back into the fog of pagan celtic history. Not sure what the **** has happened here though ...
