he did ok on a small budget should fit in well.lets face it they sold all their best players should fit in well.
Which bit are you finding hard to believe fella... that they might go for someone with credentials or that Radz will keep believing orta about the quality of the squad no matter how many coaches try and fail with it! Problem with the system is everyone knows orta calls the shots so getting someone with proven credentials will be tough
Football all around the world is managed by a Board of Directors one of whom is DoF. Under him are coaches and a head coach. It works as can be seen by all the countries that win World Cups ACoN, European trophies European Championships. We being the oldest league have bowed down to the likes of Fergy, Big Sam, Arry ....... but its a changing world and our fans need to get a get a grip and get used to it. Adapt or die. Agree that its not worked so far but too mnay on here blame Orta (me too) but what if its been Tommy who wasnt good enough, but we will not know until the next bloke has a go with them. Radz will know if the problem is Orta so I am going to bite my tongue and let them get on with it, for now. If the old systems and managers were great we would have won the Champions League and European Championships and the World Cup everytime. We havent, weve been shyte but billybigbollox because we arrogantly believe we know best. Funny how the kids at U17 & U20 for England have used this system for a few years and we won the World Cup and European Champs
Even if TC has been at fault ( he has) Orta as DOF was responsible for bringing him in so that’s Orta fault too. Heginbotham... another blinded by the opportunity and too vain to turn it down.. job is way too big for him. Sacked by Christmas and in the bottom five by this time next year if confirmed.
It won’t be a top 6 contender, though I guess the Barnsley guy did well given he has one of the smallest budgets in this league But I meant Rad seeing through Orta and / or giving a lot more say to the real manager - I’d like to believe that but think we might have a wait
The Championship is one of the hardest leagues in the World to get out of, and to their credit Barnsley are making it look easy. Think Radrizzani has got a bit confused somewhere.
I know f all about what the Heck - just that he got them up and did well for a season but now is fighting relegation. On a tiny budget of course, eveN by our standards My guess is he’s another cheap option, another one who will find the LUFC job too much This time, rather than do my usual 6 months ‘ benefit of the doubt’ routine I’m going to judge him the same way I judged underlings before I retired when I was working as a captain of industry ( ha ha) - if he talks like a thick prat, then he is a thick prat and no need to wait 6 months to come to that conclusion. Probably after a few press conferences should be long enough. On the other hand he may be the next SAF .......
Didn’t mean to imply either of these things 20. My point was that he wanted a manager from a top 6 side last year... Stam and Wagner I think. I felt this time he’d want someone with better paper credentials than Tc. Don’t expect the guy to have any more say, but if another coach fails with the same squad you start to question how good the squad is. Didn’t agree with orta And/or Tc as appointments, but given where we are, if you're Rads, the best way to work out how good the squad is is to see if another coach can get them playing.
