we have just signed a striker from Arsenal 37 goals in 20 games now that's what you call a signing English under 19 International
... and i'm sure she'll do very well for you. I imagine most of your ladies team would get in your men's side
Agree 100% and definitely wouldnt want a manager who had got us relegated from the Championship. Last thing any club would want eh
so you should be they were forecast to be a mid table side but he got them up to the brink of the playoffs
It was pretty obvious hernandez couldn't hack a full season in the champ... I think that's why Saiz has been a main target. Assuming Pablo stays, you can see them alternating/covering.
Afternoon all - I wouldn't be surprised if Ekuban hardly gets a game for us this season (if he signs), I would imagine he will be used as back up or a sub until he adapts, it would be a tall order for a player to come from playing in the Albanian League into a team and shifting Wood, it just isn't going to happen. On a personal level I don't see Ekuban as an exciting signing, a gamble worth taking yes, he is just adding a bit of depth to the squad. I'm hoping if we decide to go 4-4-2 we are still after someone better to partner Wood or that Thomas gets the best out of Antonsson. I would be far more excited about Alioski joining.
he's joining a team that were expected to be midtable but got to the brink of the playoffs - a perfect match
Alioksi to me is by far the most exciting player we've been linked with. He clearly has something about him. Saiz also excites me but I wouldn't guarantee he'll easily push Hernandez out of the team. Ekuban doesn't bother me at all and I honestly doubt he's gonna be better than Doukara or Roofe up front. Gamble worth taking? Probably I think the squad is practically done if these signings go through. 1 LB and 2 CBs left to get I'd say.
