Sign a load of league 1 players from poundland, and that's where you end up,again, slow learners the Wallies.
I'll have to get my ale in on the Thurs so, although I think the alcohol ban on good friday may well be lifted next year
If you were that big a fan, you should have picked up on my 'close friends get to call him TC' line shaks! I'm wasted on you lot!!
Not sure why people think burnley's a bad move for Taylor. He gets at least 1 season in the premiership, and a salary that sets him up for life. Great move for him. Good luck to the lad. If Cellino wasn't a tw*t Taylor would still be a Leeds player. If monk hadn't been chasing the extra points for his cv (let's face it there was no other reason to field a full side in a dead match, when we have young players who need the experience), then he wouldn't have had to make the choice not to play in the last game. He was wrong not to play, but he shouldn't have been asked.
I would respectfully disagree With two points milky. First being, just like others before him, Taylor wanted the riches of the pl. we couldn’t compete wage wise nor should we have tried, he’s nothing special. Secondly, he was still being paid as a Leeds player for that last game and damn well paid at that so should have played. After all, if he thought anything of the fans, it was a chance to say his farewells Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
A part of me wonders if Monk was being a bit cute with Taylor at the end of the season. He didn't need to announce that Taylor didn't want to play, and as has been mentioned, we should have been playing breakthrough kids anyway - and in particular Denton in that position. I think Monk had already known for some time that he was leaving himself, and used the Taylor situation to deflect form himself. Just sayin' .....
I read this article & immediately thought, "what a load of rubbish"! And then I thought about it, & thought of Eddie Gray doing exactly the same. So I'm not so sure it's rubbish now. Whaddya think? http://www.weallloveleeds.co.uk/latest/could-a-position-change-save-this-players-leeds-career
You can respectfully disagree with me whenever you want fella! Re point 1. My understanding is that Taylor would have stayed had he been offered a decent championship wage. Having said that, his agent was also waving a big fat offer from West Brom under his nose so there is another side to this. We offered him peanuts though. Re point 2. I agree he should have played when asked. Just don't think he should have been asked. It wasn't even in the clubs best interests... we knew he was going. Do a cruciate and no-one buys him.
Harrogate highlights ... https://www.leedsunited.com/video/87284/highlights-leeds-united-v-harrogate-town
