Not disagreeing with you. Popped across to ja and there's a collective slashing of wrists. Lets get some perspective. Cook has immense potential and I'm disappointed to see him go, is going to be top drawer if coached properly imo. But if he is that good now, why is it only Bournemouth, who will likely be in the relegation shake up, that triggered his release clause and why have no other club started a bidding war. Not sure he has the experience yet to carry us through a promotion battle. Need players for the here and now to get us up. Only when we are in the prem will this poaching stop.

Agreed. I've said many times, our players only ever seem to sign for poorer pl teams with exception of Byram. Maybe our young players are not the world beaters we like to believe

 

Cook going is a shame, Leon Osman and Grimes not the sort of replacement I would have hoped for..

Yep, I was thinking that I wouldn't mind Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick and acting the party pooper on Sunday. France will obviously be bookies favourites.....but all the pressure is on them.

 

Yep but most weeds would want him to lose in the final as it'll hurt more getting so close, tears in full flow as ever with him.

Cook going reminds me of Delph leaving. Yes I think he will be a good player in years to come ( not as good as delph at same age tho ) and it would be nice to keep him for when he does become that player but in the short term he will not be a vital loss. Like the season we sold delph it was more important to keep Beckford who got us promoted
