I vote we leave the EU, except for the Chunnel connecting us, we are our own 4 countries together in one, I like it that way......:emoticon-0148-yes:

    Huh?
If we come out the scots will go independent. It's the only good thing that would come from an out vote.... Ohh that and putting all the paddies to more expense if they want to visit....

In or out of Europe the Jocks will continue coming south of border to find work. Should they go independent in future, that'll just increase the number coming South cos of the lack of work up there, unless they miraculously build more companies that can employ a few thousand workers each.

I personally don't have any grudge against the Welsh, Irish and Jocks, I have, and have had great friends amongst'em, and while we're competitive on a friendly basis, we're stronger, and better placed standing together.

We all have our own seperate identities, but when the need arises, we have one, standing side by side......England<party>Ireland<party>Scotland<party>Wales<party> ..Let's dance.

If they go independent and we are not in the EU there will be a border and visa requirement.
Stopping immigration and free movement is what this leave campaign is all about.
Wait till the press cotton on!!!

You could be right about the border situation, although I don't think it'll be as strict as Airports or other Borders, I'm not so sure all ties with England will be severed either, but we'd have to wait and see if anything happens yet.

I don't think stopping immigration and free movement if we leave the EU would concern or affect Scotland in the near future, I think it's more about our borders with overseas immigration and movement; if it's not stopped then Britain as we know it will be slowly eroded and there'll be more mosques than churches, which will eventually, and most probably bring about an internal war. This would be the type of situation where England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will unite and stand together, Christians, Catholics and Atheists alike, etc etc, but that's down the path if it happens.

Took a while, but we eventually pushed the Romans out, and I'm sure we'll take our Country/s back from any other invaders who try......:emoticon-0148-yes:

I think EU immigrants would be able to work out if they fly to Scotland Or the Rep. of Ireland for that matter without full proper borders with full immigration controls and checks they could walk straight into England or Northern Ireland. So inshort all these people that are gaining entry to the EU would still be able to get here. At least at the minute they tend to get held up on the French side of the channel. Leaving is not the answer.
