    Good Morning Everyone,

Steve Evans' future as head coach is no clearer following a board meeting at Elland Road yesterday.

Instead Evans travelled abroad last night to enjoy for a short weekend break still wondering whether he would s be here next week, next month or next season!

Cellino called a meeting of the club’s board to go over his strategy for the summer and next season, and Evans’ position as head coach was expected to be debated during those talks yesterday afternoon.

For a guy wanting to sell, he seems very interested in what will happen next season...

    Here are the latest odds

Karl Robinson 8/11 Steve Evans 3/1 Ivan Juric 6/1 John Sheridan 6/1
Walter Zenga 9/1 Quique Sánchez Flores 10/1 Neil Warnock 14/1 Dougie Freedman 18/1
Giuseppe Iachini 20/1 Fabio Cannavaro 25/1 Simon Grayson 28/1 David Moyes 28/1
Michael Appleton 33/1 Tim Sherwood 33/1 Roberto Martinez 33/1 Roberto Di Matteo 33/1
Massimo Rastelli 33/1 Nigel Pearson 33/1 Sinisa Mihajlovic 33/1 Paul Clement 33/1
Dennis Wise 40/1 Alan Smith 40/1 Mick McCarthy 40/1 Christian Brocchi 40/1
Steve McClaren 40/1 Roberto Mancini 50/1 Brendan Rodgers 50/1 Walter Mazzarri 50/1

Our retained list will be released today!!!

    Thoughts?

The football league want to introduce a fifth division!

There would be four divisions of 20 teams below the Premier League by the 2019/20 season.

As there are 24 teams in the Championship, it would mean SEVEN clubs would be relegated from the Championship in the 18/19 season. This would still allow 3 clubs to go up from Division 1.

No clubs would go down from from Division 2 during this season.

Two teams would be promoted from the National League and six other sides would be added to the newly-formed League Three, taking the total number of professional clubs to 100.

The six additional clubs are likely to also come from the National League, although the proposals will reopen the debate on Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic playing in England.

    Thoughts?

It's taken the football league two years to charge Cellino.

If I were Cellino, I'd leave it two years to reply...

Morning Elland. I wish Cellino would extract a digit and let Evans/the supporters know what's happening.

On division 5, if Rangers and Celtic want to join the FL, let them start off in L1. Bet Yeovil fans would like that!!!

As if, they should have to start in the new proposed L3. Not that I'd want that to happen anyway

I wonder if Evans had permission to go on holiday?
You know what happens if not.

If that happens as you have described and we haven't already been relegated and Massiveego was still in charge I would stand a bet of any size that we would be relegated in 18/19.

L3 grounds wouldn't be able to cope with the volume of L1 fans. So from a safety perspective, L1 is probably the best option

Last time I checked relegation isn't decided using away ground facilities.
If it was our rented dilapidated (on three sides) crumbling relic would see us in league 3 or 4.

Morning all. If Celtic and Rangers want to join English football they should start in the minor county leagues just the same as the likes of Afc Wimbledon and FC Utd of scumchester did.

You are quite right Chippy. Problem is, no one urrently in L1 has the same aay following as either Celtic or Rangers.

    Huh???

Not mentioned Celtic or Rangers but the clue is in the title its the English Football pyramid.
Therefore they are not entitled to be in it. On the same basis kick out Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexhan (and Crewe).

Yes but they played some good attacking football without a defence. As long as we can score 4 a game we should get a point.
