Good morning, if Redfearn wants to partner Beckford and Becchio it shows he has run out of ideas or had very few to start with, they had their day and moment in history together and that time is well and truly past. Unless it is a rolling monthly contract we shouldn't go there. Yes in my opinion their should be two levels of rape, I have a strong feeling Ched will win his appeal. Morning ristac, would you rather have Hunt and Morison or Becchio and Beckford. If the B's are reasonably priced, then I'd hand them an 18 month contract. On Ched Evans, something does not smell quite right about it
Morning all I will be starting to work out a new format for the MDT shortly, so we will at least have something for this weeks game! As for Beckford / Becchio, I really do get tired of having the same debate every single transfer window. If we are in the market for another striker, why not chose someone new. Both Beckford and Becchio would doubtless be disappointing when judged against the expectation that would be placed on them.
Morning Elland, I think given our current situation and position I would invite the two B's to train for a week and take a look at fitness etc. I would possibly give them a rolling contract, I would also keep in the back of my mind what players will leave and who can shine in L1 should we sink down. The problem could be Cellino, if we lose our next 2 games will he keep faith with Redfearn, I can't see Cellino bringing in any of Redfearns targets although saying that I am guessing they both are under contract so it would be loans
Morning all, Becchio would be a mistake, for reasons I've outlined elsewhere. Beckford is a new level of NOOOOO!!!!! If either was that good then they wouldn't be available. Neither gave done anything of note since they left the club. Either would be a mistake. Both would be a catastrophe.
Of course there should be different levels of rape. I'm not sure how many on here know, but if you stagger home drunk, from a party, with your wife and have sex you could leave yourself open to be charged with rape at a later date if you have a major fallout and she says she was too drunk to agree at the time.
I agree. There's rape and there's drunken sex. You might regret the drunken sex the next day, but providing there was no date rape drug and you didn't say no and you were both drunk how can it be rape? Crikey, i'd never get any sex at all if the missus wasn't drunk
Good morning to Matt and co from a very blustery Cote De Bardsey Becchio and Beckford a big NO I have watched Beckford a few times when he played for town the only manager who could get any response from him his Grayson otherwise he has lkeft all other managers in despair We do need a big striker who can head a ball but someone who is younger than those 2 We need a midfield general too along with a wingerthat is how I see it I will not put down in future what or who I thgink we should sign or write to the club with suggestion for fear they will think I am Chippy in disguise and have me locked up !
Finally re Ched Evans lets make it clear, he has only served half his sentence any misdemeanour on his part and he will be locked up to serve the rest of his sentence which currently stands at at least 2 years .Supposing he signs for a club and gets into a fight with a fan etc which is very possible, does his new club do what Sheff U did and pay him for the reast of his contract'.This is very possible and so I think he will be ujnable to play for any club until that full sentence s has expired
