    Good Morning Everyone,

Norwich are charging Leeds fans £40 per ticket for the forthcoming mid week game at Carrow Road.

It's not enough that our six fingered friends have stolen Snods, Howson, Johnson and Bechio on the cheap, they want to make more money out of us!!!

The past, is now the past, we must look forwards not backwards, and I for one don't want a club like Norwich taking advantage ANY MORE!!!!

    Thoughts?

Darko Milanic has finally put pen to paper and signed a two year deal with the club. Milanic also revealed that it was sporting director Nicola Selerno that put his name forward for the post.

We can see Milanic' first interview with the club here.

Mornin Elland and gang. What about that penalty shoot out last night 14-13 or whatever. Pity wrong team won. Everyone singing Cellinos praises, and rightly so, but proof again Salerno is our unsung hero. Responsible for selecting the bulk of our new players, most look quality and now the one who selected Milanic. That alone gives me the confidence hell be a good choice. Like Cellinos comment that Redders was good enough for the head job and would have been the cheap option, but the appointment was not about money. Redders is far too important to the academy. Mr Cellino seems to be a quick learner

Good morning from a slightly sunny Cote de Bardsey to Matt and co
If Salerno has picked Darko I have every confidence he will be the man for the job.I wonder how long Salerno has been MC right hand man he perhaps wouldn't have needed so many coaches!
I wonder if we will now be looking to offload not only Norris and Hunt but 2 names are beginning to be mentioned a lot Murphy and Wooton but surely they will have some sell on value as they were both sort after before they came to us
I still like to di a deal for Gray of Brum but is that wishful thinking he scored a great goal at Norwich this last week

    Morning Mike <ok>

Maybe Cellino did not want to pick Redders as his first team coaches have somewhat of a limited lifespan?

We need to offload Norris, Hunt, White.

Be interesting to see what happens to Murphy. If we could get 3/4 of our money back on Murphy ie £750ki, I'd take it!!!

Morning all. I think Murphy will improve as he now has serious competition for even a place on the bench. So he will have to deliver.

Make or break. Surely if we had an offer of 750k, we should accept it?

Matt MC if he can get 11m for Ross who knows what he will get for White Murphy and Wooton .I feel that wooton will have very little chance of first team football in the foreseeable future so either loan him out or sell him on!
White will never make it for me so sell him to the blades and swap him for Murphy Jamie that is!

Maybe Elland. But let's see the newcomers get through a full season before we move on established players who can and have done a job for us. Remember, we're now playing proper footy, rather than hooball. So I think Murphy needs to be given a chance to compete with others to show why he should be retained.

Ok I will go along with that Boggers but how long to you give him until Jan then sell him on I think we have given Hunt to much time already

We dont need much for him. If he's unwanted, get rid to get him off the wage bill. One of the first things Cellino had to do was make one of the stage payments to Crewe for him, I think 150k as the previous tossers were late with that payment. Id imagine if Cellino can recoup whatever payments are still due on him, he'd be happy enough. As for offloading the others, remember somebody has to want them before we can get rid

Don't think we're compairing like with like 60. Hunt could have gone ages ago. That we can't find anyone to take him speaks volumes. Me thinks clubs in the top half of the championship will be falling over themselves to get his signature were we to offer him up. I just think we're doing very well at the moment. But let's see how these incomers do in the next 10 games. If we have a settled midfield with a couple of spares on the bench and Murphy can't even get a place on the bench, then you may have a point.

When it comes to shifting unneeded players, its far more important to get them off the wage bill rather than hang on for large fees for them. To be honest, I'd almost completely forgotten that Wooton was a Leeds players there. Seems to be too many options before him in the order now, Bellusci, Pearce, Cooper, with Berardi capable of dropping in CB as cover, then we've also got the likes of Killock if we got really unlucky with injuries.

Murphy has a whole host of people ahead of him too, though it isn't as easy as listing Bianchi, Sloth, Adryan, Austin, Cook, Mowatt because they obviously hold slightly different roles in the middle of the park, but he will certainly have a fight on if he wants to get back in at the minute.

Morning Durham, We paid a million each for Wootton and Murphy.

They're both young, and have potential. I'd keep them.

I'd also keep Moro and Tonge as squad players

I'd send Thompson, Walters, Dawson, Killock and maybe Cairns (though I think he's our u21 keeper, so maybe not) on loan.

I'd get rid of of White, Norris, Ajose (what were we thinking), Hunt

If cellino believed redders was good enough for the job then he should have given it to him, as it's lower risk than hiring someone who only might be good enough for the job. He could then have then spent over the odds if necessary in getting the best academy boss he could, as they come a bit cheaper than head coaches.

Whichever, time to get behind darko. Let's hope with darko and murko, the future's bright... (Milky reaches for coat)

Agree with you on keeping Wooton and Murphy as they are young, particularly Murphy - I just worry Wooton isn't going to see much football and therefore will just be another player who we are paying not to play. Generally agree White, Norris, and Hunt can go, I'd let Tonge go too (we've too many midfielders to keep him as a squad player).

I've no idea what Ajose was about, if he really isn't good enough someone needs to be accountable for signing him, how long a contract is he on? Send him on loan maybe?

I don't think Thompson is going to break through either unfortunate though that is. Dawson, Killock, Walters could all benefit from some game time though if they aren't getting it here

Ajose looked ineffective in a side that was terrible. Any particular reason for singling him out just because he hasn't featured under redders? In the games I saw him he contributed little but still more than bianchi who has now come good.

Not saying he's a keeper just wondering why he's being singled out. Benedicic hasn't featured, just a kid but came with a fanfare, beradi can't stay on the pitch.

The buzz at the time was that sharp and ajose were hock suggestions. So maybe that's what we were thinking... A couple of cheap English punts.

With our new attacking style Ajose could be a real threat.

Saw someone mention if Doukarra carries on has he is theres a chance he could be going to the African Cup of Nations so need to keep options open

We paid a million for murphy, did we actually pay a million for wootton? It gets quoted a lot, but my memories at the time were that it was undisclosed but thought to be a package that could rise to a million with an initial fee nearer to a few hundred k.

If that was the case I doubt too many bonus payments have kicked in.... No England call up just yet, though he might be waiting by the phone for Roy to ring.
