    Mornining Everyone,

Cellino and McDermott met up in person for the first time yesterday. I wish I had been a fly on the wall for that one. I wonder what was said?

Jack Butland has been linked to us by a number of sources. The 20 yo is currently second choice at Stoke.

Is Kenny out of sorts? Who would replace him? How does he compare to other Championship goalkeepers?

Another not so familiar name is also been linked to us. 18 yo hotshot Robbie McDaid plays for Irish outfit Glenavon has been linked with us in several papers. Certainly looks one for the future.

Luke Varney has set the record straight regarding his departure from Elland Road. Knowing that a move to Blackburn Rovers was imminent, he did not want to get injured, so he asked McDermott he he could be rested. He went on to tell him that if he was selected he would still give it 100%.

Its half term, and Flamingo Land are doing a special deal. They have introduced a a new attraction called a GFH, where you are literally fleeced, and taken for a ride....

Morning Elland and all. Are flamingo land adding that attraction to their bates and Risdale ones. Seems us Leeds fans enjoy being taken for a ride. Elland, did you have to use the dreaded one for the future term. I hate it, it seems to be like a curse for everyone we sign. As for Stoke goalie, I read a tweet this morning that Leeds had enquired and were trying to do something. We know what that likely is, here's a crocked ashdown with a sore toe you can have as a swap as were skint

Elland the YEP are saying the meeting took place last Thursday and others state the meeting took place over the weekend? This is the main issue we have because its all about conjecture and hearsay etc. We haven't a scooby whats going on and the FL taking its time adds pressure and uncertainty to the fans and the players and management.

Glad when this soap opera and probably this season ends <ok>

Agreed but not so sure this season will be the end of the soap opera. It's like corrie and eastenders, never ending and depressing

Morning Doc, don't think the football league have any option but to push the takeover through. The convictions are spent, and he obviously has the money. Thats as far as the process goes!

Morning all. Are Flamingo Land now closing down their Living the Dream ride? Apparently it started off nice and gentle, then went up and down and made everyone sick in the process. Reckon they lost a fortune on that ride!!!

We found Beckford from non league footy, so a young Irish lad could be another good addition. We need someone to hep McCormack. Smith's not bad for his impact value, & Hunt... we just don't know.

On the soap opera, the sooner it's done the better. The words p*ss up and brewery spring to mind.

Kennys a top end Championship keeper, even with his faults. Butland is a better keeper, but something doesnt sit right about this deal. Kenny has another season left. So, we loan in Butland play him for a season then send him packing and re-introduce Kenny? Doesnt sound right to me. Butland cost over 3.3. million not too long ago and Kenny still has another season contracted. So, who would take Kenny off us on his wages at his age? Warnocks not working, and surely we wont be using him as a back up? Even Stoke arent doing that with Butland!

I should know better than trying to second guess Leeds United.

Kenny is past it and needs replacing as number 1. He has, in my opinion, cost us too many points. The Leicester and Ipswich games being perfect examples. Let him see his last year as back up to a better younger keeper.

All talk of replacing players or signings seem a little premature to me. Whole damn thing unfortunately rests with the FL now. If Cellino gets green light then likely to be a whole new ball game for us. Id imagine the net being cast a lot further than Stoke or Glentoran for players if Cellino is in charge. We could end up with a bunch of names next season, we mightn't be able to pronounce. Should we begin plans to change our names here. I could be Italioleeds1, the mightyitalio, boggers the italian, italioshako

Greetings from sunny edinburgh. I have drunk 1/4 what shaks shifts and my head feels like it has a dozen sumo wrestlers in tag team action battling in it.

:undecided: Kenney Scenario: 1-year left but not good enough so will go out on loan with a view to being signed in the summer - Blunts?

Butland into Leeds on Loan and deal done in the summer - may even make the world cup squad

Cellino accepted by FL so ER purchased and negotiations take place for TA. If TA too rich Cellino may start academy from scratch? New players come from all around Europe and season ends on a high but just miss out on play-off. BMcD shows Cellino enough to keep his job and Brian rebuilds in the summer a squad capable of winning the league. Cellino tells the FL that we would have got into the play-offs this term if they had acted sooner.

I then wake up with a hard on and realise GFH are still pumping my botty:eek:

Rightly so. Managers are well paid to win games. Same as any employee, if you're not getting results, move him on and get someone who can.
Works fine at Chelski and Palace too
