    Morning Peeps,

They say 24 hours is a long time in politics!!! Well, let me tell you, its a damn lot longer if you're a Leeds fan.

Last Friday saw Brian McDermott recieve his marching orders (over the phone from some Manc lawyers), go blubbing to McCormack, he, in turn thinks its a good idea to let Sky Sports in on the mellee, Chief Executive Paul Hunt also gets sacked, David Haigh resigned, our shirt sponsors Enterprise scarpered and even Flamingo land thought we were taking them for a ride, and cancelled their agreement with us!!!

It also saw four Italian football stars, ow, sorry, slip of the tongue, four Italian football players be heavily linked to us.

What does this have in common?

It was all the doings of Massimo Cellino.

The next morning, we were none the wiser Chief Executive Paul Hunts termination was retracted, well, it was for three hours, David Haigh was sat behind his desk as if nothing had happened, and the club issue a confusing statement saying that Cellino does not have the rights to sack McDermott, and he is still employed as Manager, but after recent events asked McDermott not to lead the team out on Saturday afternoon.

Today we are hearing word that David Haighs consortium is joining forces with Mike Farnham. That would be a pretty big consortium with Andrew Flowers,Adam Pearson, Radebe etc,BUT with the takeover nearing completion, is there time?

Saturday also saw McCormacks increase his seasons tally to 22 goals, well clear of Ings in second place as the Whites demolished the Terriers 5-1.

    Who would have thought it???

And Haigh is back twittering this morning, putting team and fans first, what a joke. As for this combined effort, these are the guys who tried to convince us each had the finance available to get the job done themselves a few weeks back but now they need to combine their efforts. Why? Because it's haighs last chance of hanging on in some form.
Maybe we need to sack a manager a week if it means getting a performance every Saturday from the players like this one. The Italian will likely oblige and do that anyway. Another week ahead of Footie forums and scouring twitter methinks

I just give up because we are now a joke in football, and this story is playing out all around the world. Its headlines are ahead of the prem news and its embarrassing.

Haigh has caused all of this due to him loving the limelight and telling us he is doing it for us. No he does it for himself and this has allowed every shady bastard in the world come out and pick over our dead bones. If I was BMcD I would sue the club and go and work for someone with ambition.

GFH Capital are no different from bates, they just had a better PR machine

If i was BMD i would take them to court and sue the bollocks out of the lot of them, tell them to **** off and go and manage else where.
I am waiting with baited breath for Bates and Warnock to start spouting his gob ****e mouth off.

I do not have a clue to what is going off!! does anyone!!! the fans do not deserve this, but if they kick off who can blame them.....sooner the better. <grr>

The Mail printed yesterday that Leeds were on the verge of going into administration and even complete financial meltdown.

<wah> Will someone think of the fans <wah>

Cellino, admin, or a board as large as Millwalls fan base?

Sorry, might ruffle a few feathers on here but its Cellino for me now its **** or bust. I dont think for one minute he should have been anywhere near our football club but it is what it is now.

Morning all, what a great win! Glad Mowatt got on the score sheet and showed some real nerve to chip that in. Rosco is acting like a real leader on the pitch (fair play, I didnt know he had it in him) and Byram seems back to his best. Byram and Kebe could be a real threat down that flank! I still think I would drop Lees for just about any of the other CBs we have on our books or even play Pelts there.

To anyone that got to the game what was the vocal support like for MCDermott? FL show showed a brief clip of his name being chanted <ok>

May or may not be that serious but we certainly cannot continue to lose 11m quid a year without a radical overhaul. To be honest GFH are so incompetent, I wouldn't be surprised if they went wallop anyway. What did Flowers see during DD that caused him to decrease their bid? Ive seen mentioned in a few places that GFH have a 4m payment due on 15th February as part of original buyout so if correct, its fair to assume they will be long gone before that date one way or the other

£650,000 per month is what we're losing apparently, obviously can't go on. Cellino is the only viable option, and I really hope he gets in <ok>

I'm with Bucks here, because there are no more options open to us and the club. The club has been raped so much that its just full of debt, and GFH Capital and all the consortium's cannot pay the bills and build the team. We are on a spiral that cannot be stopped without a huge injection of cash. If this cash doesn't come soon we go into administration again and maybe this time we go forever. That may be the only way we can start from the bottom up with someone like Pearson but we would be non-league and starting again. Cellino is the only guy with cash and if he pulls the deal off there is no reason to doubt that he will want us promoted ASAP, and that means injecting cash into the team. He has history and knows football, players, administration and management. He has already spoken about buying back TA and ER and that alone injects £2m cash back into the club.

I say that we should hope for the Italian to complete the deal, otherwise I can see is going into liquidation and vanish, only to be resercted from the ashes as a new club starting in non-league. Years to wait to get back to where we belong and maybe too late as football will have changed due to parachute payments and financial fair play ...

Bucks vocal support for McD was good all through the game especially after the goals, but I had been drinking quite a bit, so any sober fans might have a more measured answer.
