Abolition of the non-elected House of Lords and its replacement with an elected second chamber should have been done decades ago. It should have been much higher on the priority list of every Labour Government. But the Establishment has seduced and corrupted those who claim to represent working folk, the poor and the disadvantaged. I believe in many socialist principles, but I am ashamed of how the Labour movement has become part of the Elite it was formed to try to counter-balance. The poor and the disadvantaged have nobody to represent them. Certainly not pompous Lord Prescott and the vile Lord Mandelson.
Too many tax-dodgers, like Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, Lewis Hamilton, Richard Branson, Lord Ashcroft etc etc etc
