Just reading the latest Norwich article on the BBC and saw this quote from Bowcett. Is that a hint to the ambitions of the board to try and compete in the Europa league? We could do it in three years I feel but I would rather the club was to become financially stable first
lets stay up again first shall we? i'm all for showing ambition and its great to see from the board but we mustn't lose sight of the main aim this coming season... survival. then we can push on
I wouldn't want a fleeting season in Europe - can be a huge curse if a club aren't ready for it - I'd prefer to build gradually and get it when we are ready for it...that said, I've seen it said that we're aiming for 17th...which I think is a dangerous way to think -
Priorities: 1. Financial stability 2. Stay up ! (hopefully coupled to 1 above) 3. Good FA Cup run (to generate cash to help 1 above but not at the expense of 2 above) Hope that all makes sense
I would be happy with another 12th place finish, a short cup run and to end up above Villa again. I think financial stability is a must and to build slowly is the sensible thing. It has been suggested that PL was a little impatient ( and therefore maybe have missed the Everton job) I hope CH lives up to the hype and the players give their all for him like they did for PL. I don't believe the promoted teams are a big threat, we are a year in front of them.We are as good as most of the Premier League, so bring it on. With a few good signings we will be ok...........can't wait............OTBC
think this is the board managing the fans expectations what is said behind closed doors is probably a bit different
I would like to see Norwich beat Southampton and West Ham because they seem to be Norwich's bogie sides. It would be good have have a run in the League Cup or FA Cup. Could finish in the top 10 or 12th and have some stability.
