    Difficult to say. Being honest, Newcastle look the most likely. Sunderland got to a final of course, but they are just a consistently poor side fighting relegation every year. We are a championship side but Aitor is a genius. Newcastle have actually been a good side at various stages over the last 20 years, and are clearly the North Easts premier club.

    Can't understand why we fans get so much blame for Pardew leaving. A lot of his grief was his own doing, unprofessional conduct on more than one occasion, shocking tactics, allowing shocking signings in his squad ( Facundo Ferreyra ) blatant bullsh.t in match interviews.
    He left because he was scared of a repeat of last year when Cabaye was sold and we went into freefall. History may well repeat itself if Sissoko is sold and Ashley has told him no transfer funds. On top of this, it's now being reported the both Ashley & Carr want a say in team selection, what the f.ck does Ashley know about football????? Who on earth, other than Carver, would want to be a part of this.
    Looks like a appointment from the Conference could be on his way.

    If you say so. Its certainly more relevant than what happened 100 yrs ago but not as relevant as what has happened last season or this season. Either way you're right about Newcastle being the top north east side. Table never lies does it. :emoticon-0148-yes:
