while i can't see a weakness in a ide like that there are so many more players or combinations of players that could be named, players like Cruyff, Muller, baresi, Banks, Charlton, Rossi and one of my all time favourite players not necessarily a world cup superstar Gunther Netzer thought he was fantastic

    Peter Schmeichel

    Cafu (awesome call crumble)
    Jaap Stam
    Fabio Cannavaro
    Paolo Maldini

    George Best
    Paul Scholes
    Zinedine Zidane

    Ronaldinho
    Cristiano Ronaldo
    Romario

As you can see I'm a firm believer that football has evolved for the most part. I've unbiasedly (if that's a word) left out Eric Cantona, in favour of having that awesome front three. The team looks a little suspect in midfield with no holding midfielder but the back five is basically a brick wall anyway.

Obviously no Messi, Pele or Maradona in there, just purely personal preference.

pretty much got my team from the BBC sports page, just had to have gazza in there, loved him when he was on his game.
agree football has moved on so much from when a few of those players played but on their day they were pretty much the best.

    Oh no doubt about it.

The game has changed so much, the likes of Beckenbaur and Moore would probably get sent off in every game nowadays, not just because of the speed, but the divers, the cheats, the pansies.
