    Considering just who it was
Who came our way yesterday noon,
I´m still boggling, and that´s because
We were close to being over the moon,
So close in fact, that when they scored
The winner, with no time to go,
On their bench, in total accord
Relief was the one thing on show,
And sometimes it´s not points alone
That prove which team´s won on the day,
Yesterday we could all trundle home
With a feeling of pride from the fray,
From Ruddy J. right through the team
They showed just how far they have come,
And had de Gea been in one of his dreams
Then this one we might just have won,
From the ageless Drury at the back
    To Captain Courageous who leads,
    His troops bravely into attack
We can expect many more fine deeds,
    And although mathematically, yes
There´s a way to go before we´re there,
    I think I´d wager nonetheless
We´ll be playing here again next year,
And I know that may be tempting fate
    Especially in Lambert P´s eyes,
But we´ll hopefully not have long to wait
Before we can confirm the prize,
For we´ll actually play a lot worse
Than that, and more than likely win,
So forget about ordering the hearse
I don´t think our demise will begin,
Just yet, and with players to see
Like Howson and young Bennett R,
    Before this season closes, we
Have potential to still push on far. OTBC

rbf, good stuff as always! great to think that we still have howson, bennett, vaughan, tierney and ayala still to come back too! great performance from city yesterday, one of our best of the season. i thought we did enough to secure a point at the very least but we can't exactly say united scoring in the last minute wasn't a possibility! we'll play a lot worse than that and win <ok>

We were worth a point Super, even Sir Fergie himself has admitted so, but you don´t always get your just rewards in football, but a fantastic performance, no-one could have asked more of them. Very much looking forward to seeing especially what Howson has to offer, as we´ve really not got anyone of his ilk at the club.

really enjoyed the game got over the result very quickly as these things happen , we did it quite a lot last year just have to take it on the chin, that was by far the best performance a Norwich side has put in for a long time,, any news on Jacko why did he come off at half time he had his best 45 mins in a yellow shirt without scoring, also still not sure why Russ did not play, any news please people?

i was surprised at the time about the jackson substitution but looking back i think it was tactical - and it worked! during the first half jackson dropped into midfield (to good effect) and we played better with him deeper. he was playing very well but i think lambert probably wanted a natural midfielder in that place for balance. i'm only guessing but that was my thought. oh, and russell martin is ill <ok>

thanks superman I was hoping too that it was a tactical change as he ran his socks off, also did not understand why Vaughan was not on the bench

I had him on my bench too, jarold, but no complaints that Wilbraham was there instead, when he came on, he nearly scored with a cracker.
