You've done it now joe........it will take Mrs LaLa ages to calm Beau down after that sought of insult......tin helmet time for everyone. Calling Beau legless is one thing......but I ask you....calling him a pidgeon that must really hurt.
Sensible, first of all "barstuards" is not swearing, in fact it's a deviation from it. Secondly, I still read some of this Argyle forum daily, I choose not to post because there is nothing of any significance to say - what's the point in talking about nothing? Maybe if something of worth happens I will be compelled to talk about it, a win would be nice or perish the thought a string of wins but until then I'm not inspired to talk about nothingness...I'll leave that to Joe
"What is the point of talking about nothing". Never met a woman yet who isn't an expert. I know as I have to join in those sorts of conversations every day.
If I had one I'd tell my Mum on you. Mind you being a woman she'd probably tell me I deserve everything I get and clip me round the ear. I do have to admit that it is not easy finding something to get enthusiastic about where Argyle is concerned. Nothing much changes does it.
No it doesn't but I do read most of this stuff, just can't summon up the enthusiasm to post. I've been busy with the tennis these past 2 weeks but that's over now so it's back to boredom. Doesn't help I'm off work sick and it's soooo boring. There's only so much facebooking you can do in a day, I've even found myself looking through friends' photo albums on there - HELP!
Actually, it's quite disheartening to read this thread and understand that Argyle are still not playing well, I know it's early days but I had hoped for a turnaround with the arrival of a new manager. When will it ever end?!
I was hoping for a "bounce" with everything suddenly looking ok until I sat through last Saturday. The only positive I can find is that out of 2 games we have 4 points and if that was replicated for the rest of the season ten we would be safe. But, I just can't hope that we meet teams as bad as those for the rest of the season. I am more concerned this season than last if I'm honest. Sheridan has got to be better than Fletcher but he ain't no miracle worker. I think if we just could hang it out this season and he was given a whole pre-season and a budget from the start then things would start to look up. The support is holding up and I just can't see why it is. Considering what they are witnessing it could just be stuborness on their part for now. It won't last though for much longer.
Now cheer up Mrs LaLa.......Sheridan has managed 4pts from 6 available....if he keeps that up we'll have nothing to moan about anymore.....it's being cheerful that keeps us going.
