For a while now I have backed both Bruce and the team. I have run out of patience now. I thought Bruce would turn it around. He has had chance after chance to do that and all I can see is more of the same.

I do feel sorry for Bruce because Gyan sealed his fait. I think had Gyan stayed and been up for it our season would have been very different so far.

I know I have supported Bruce but in all honesty the appointment in the first place was the problem. I did not want him and I knew many would never accept him.

Short needs to get the right man now. Moyes would be my first choice. As one from left field what about Haughton?? He has done wonders with B'ham on no money, he must hate the mags after what they did to him and I bet he would love nothing more than to beat them.

Moyes for me though, I would accept MON but think he might not be as good as some people think.

Moyes would be fantastic, if we could tempt him away. TBH, even a partially nappy trained chimp could do a better job than Bruce atm.

I, too, have been a supporter of Bruce & agree that Gyan's departure has brought about this current situation. However, I have to question Bruce's tactics in the last 2 games. Playing a lone striker, at home, against teams in the lower half(and in one case the bottom) of the league just does not make sense. Draws, if that's what he was aiming for, were just not the order of the day. You might as well have a go!

Overall, I don't think the last 2 performances have been that bad. It's just that it's blindingly obvious that we're missing someone who can put the ball in the net. However, I think Bruce is very much looking like a man who has run out of ideas & is trying to play the safe option.

I would agree with you up to a point. 15 minutes. Then slowly but surely it gets worse and worse and the silly subs come into play and we get more and more disjointed and then he swaps a couple of players into unfamiliar positions and it gets ****tier and ****tier and by the last five minutes we are ****ing awful.

Had it not been for the dodgy penalty, I would say that the first half display was good. But, such things can turn a game & with confidence levels, as they are, the end result became obvious. As I said, Bruce seemed to have no plan B: it was a case that the starting line-up was going to achieve the victory, or I don't know what is.

The thing is we can keep making excuse after excuse, maybe Bruce is just unlucky but in SAFC's best interests I think enough is enough. I think he has done some fantastic things for the club and for that I thank him but we have gone stale and we are stuck in a rut. Its time to move on.

I'm not, necessarily, disagreeing, or trying to make excuses. I'm trying to give a balanced view. Maybe, it is time for Bruce to leave & to start a new era. What I am against, is the attitude that the last few games have all been bad. That's just not the case. We can all jump on the bandwagon, that's easy to do. All I'm trying to say is that if we had a decent striker, the same performances could. easily, have produced another 6 points, at least. We would, then, be viewing things a whole lot differently. It's a fine line.

As a mag, I've said for a while you should keep Bruce, BUT after today and losing at home to Wigan I have to say its time for you to move him on. Also it could give you lift ahead of the Wolves game if you have a new manager.
