If recent performances & individual displays on the pitch are anything to go by I think we may well finish 10th, or even higher, yesterday Man city really were the better team, stats tell you that, but with all the possesion & shots on goal they got nothing. we put out players who defended like the RAF in the Battle of Britain, rode our luck & hung on for dear life, they played for the fans, the club, the manager & themselves & they showed the world that at the end of the day that's what counts, we will finish at least 10th & be left wondering what if decisions had been made a few weeks earlier, where would we have finished??

We can go tenth on goal difference with a win at Wigan tomorrow. It'll probably last for 24 hours till Everton play at home to Bolton on Wednesday. But still, it's better to be 10th for a day than bottom three for a week - and that's where we were about a month ago. Very nice. I'll take that. I just hope Wigan agree to it!

If can be a big word, but not an impossible one. A lot of belief has come back to the team and fans. so with a bit of luck, its onwards and upwards for SAFC.

We have a right to be confident but not cocky. A win tomorrow will be extremely hard to earn but we should be confident. Wigan have shown they won't roll over and die and have some good results to their name this season. They also have some shockers though as well.

Could we go 10th? Very nice if we could and just as importantly, it would reduce the gap between us and our neighbours to just 6 points, almost halving the deficit inside 4 games.

Great stuff in the race for NE top dogs? Lol

Oh god don't go getting my hopes up syd! I never speculate on future results, it never goes how you think it will!

We could very well be top 10 by the end of tomorrow night, but we could just as easily be 12 points behind the mags..

The phrase "don't count your chickens before they're hatched" is never more apt than it is for the premier league!!!
