Which the ref shouldnt be influenced by, as he isnt when managers throw their arms in the air etc

So no matter what our ****ing physio said, its irrelevant to anything

Mirallas himself admitted that he was expecting nothing other than RED

Only Gerrard knows if there was intent there, it looked like a snide attempt to me (& Distin) but he didn't connect & it therefore doesn't really matter.

Assuming Dowd had a decent view of the incident, he could have only given him the benefit due to Suarez foot not being on the deck. If his foot is planted that was a leg breaker.

What like Clattenberg when Gerrard told him to send Hibbert off when he was clearly going for a yellow card before he piped up?

Of course they're influenced by factors around them, they're humans ffs.

Hence the lack of away team penalties at OT & some of the 'big team' decisions that happen virtually every week. Get a grip.

Distan and Barry were giving it loads that they thought Suarez was feigning injury, our physio has as much right to his opinion as them, right?

The Gerrard incident is interesting - had he connected, he should have been sent off.

It did look like he was leading with his elbow so you could argue the intent was there - therefore, technically he should have been sent off?

Also, there were a few other incidents involving Miralles - Suarez went in on him, and Miralles landed on top and stuck a boot in - accidental?

He also elbowed Henderson which drew blood as well ...

No he has zero right to come on & try & influence the referee.

The irony is, that he may have inadvertently had the opposite effect.

  10. Distin also tried his best for the so-called Gerrard elbow too.

Gtf, so its ok for the Everton players to try and influence the ref but not the physio?

Either nobody should try and influence the referee or they all can.

But as has been said many times the ref bottled it, the player himself thought he was off and whether his foot was on the ground or not doesn't matter.

Dowd talked himself out of it if you ask me.

You don't wait 2 minutes to decide what you are going to do - it has to be immediately after you have seen the incident.

No one is clouding judgement or influencing then are they?

See it, run over, red card. Everyone can shout and ask questions after.

  15. I disagree, they should always give themselves a few seconds to avoid rash actions. Certainly shouldn't take two minutes though and the commentators called it right after about twenty seconds when they said it wasn't going to be red with how long it was taking.

I agree with this when it is pulling someone down on goal and the whole "was he last man" etc then you may need a second to go through the scenario.

But for reckless tackles like that you know straight away imo.

The ref took the right amount of time for the Wes Brown one, same he still got the decision wrong <laugh>

    I thought that too.

Turns out it's a place for calling people names for challenging a clearly subjective opinion supported by no facts whatsoever.

    Ho-hum.
