No he hasn't. He has said that us failing to qualify for the CL ruled us out of consideration entirely. That doesn't mean he would have joined us immediately, no questions asked, if we had qualified. Bayern were always the favourite for his sig.

If you think that Conte didn't do well to take that Italian squad to within a penalty kick of beating Germany then you need your football head read.
