Does anyone have the slightest of ideas of what's going on in his head? He didn't refuse to play. He only refused to get up from his seat because he was "kind of in a bad mood" and didn't like the manager's tone of voice. Oh and he doesn't believe he did anything wrong in disobeying an order from the manager. He has not problem with Mancini. He's just harshly criticising him. He wants to keep playing for City. He's only been AWOL for what three months. What a piece of work. Glad he's not our problem anymore
He clearly doesn't want to play for City ever again. As soon as there was the indication that Mancini would let him come back he did that interview. He's a monumental **** but he did help us win a couple of titles and a European Cup and could well be the difference in the title race this season (in our favour!).
It's very simple. FIFA regulations state that a senior player who features in less than 10% of their club's games in any season can cancel their contract and leave on a free transfer. Currently, Tevez has only played three games for City and so could cancel his contract come the end of the season. However, this rule has an exception in the case of players who are not available due to long term injury etc. So Tevez is trying to make it seem like he is available for City, and the reason he hasn't been selected is all down to the manager, whilst at the same time continuing to undermine Mancini and make it impossible for him to actually be selected. That way, come June when he has only played three games all season, he will get his contract cancelled and be able to bugger off wherever he likes. He'll thus get a massive sign on fee and wages cos he's free, and won't be limited by City demanding at least £30 million for him. To put it another way, he's a money grabbing ****. Big surprise, eh?
Easily solved - put him on the bench and bring him on in 2nd half injury time in half a dozen games. His timing is good though - a destabilizing influence as things really heat up.
I remember when Fergie refused to offer him an better deal, the gaffer was lambasted by a lot of United fans at the time saying he has lost the plot, etc. Considering the way he has behaved whilst at City, proves that we were right to get rid of this arrogant trouble maker.
