Jose says JT played his best ever game yesterday. Not bad for someone who was past it and finished (ahem, CP... <whistle> .... only joking mate)

“I told John Terry in the dressing room that he made fantastic performances with me, but this was his best,” said Mourinho. “It was the best JT has ever played. It was absolutely amazing.

John Terry repels everything Arsenal can throw at him

“He had fantastic performances in the five years we worked together, five or six years, and some of them with goals. One performance at Highbury, I think in my first season, fantastic performance too. But I think today everything was clean: reading the game, giving cover, the defensive line, interceptions, reading the game so well, with the pass. The team was phenomenal, but John was one step ahead of every other player.”

He's had a great season, no doubt about that. Hope he is just as good next season, and should be with some astute subs and selections especially of young Zouma. Looks like Jose has decided Zouma will be JTs' replacement when the time comes, and to be honest, I thought it had !! How wrong can you be !!

The thing about J.T. is that he puts in so many performances like this, we just take it for granted. Jamie Carragher said after the match that John was the best centre-half that has played in the Premier League era. Coming from a rival centre-half who was not shabby himself, that's a fair shout ! Not being involved with England anymore has been a massive boost to his Club form. Long may J.T.'s career flourish. Even rival fans give grudging respect. They might not like him, but they would have him in their side pronto !

Terry has had another great season. Jose coming back has completely rejuvenated him. Going to be hell to replace in a year or 2.
