for the Ferdinand incident - charged with using Abusive and Threatening behaviour/words! Come on FA, do the right thing and punish him.
what's the fine? only 1 week in Hawaii instead of 2? we all know it'll be nothing as the sweet FA will bottle it again.
Nope, well not yet anyway. Sounds like Terry could be banned if found guilty - although that would mean he would miss the trip to LR!
Im stunned theyve done this, I still expect him to get off because i dont call him Teflon Terry for nothing but if hes found guilty then he deserves a double figure ban.
In light of the Suarez incident, they'd have been damned brass necked not to do something, considering the testimony.
Suarez got 8 games and his was cultural insensitivity, Terry has 2 charges and cannot be considered a misunderstanding. 12 games should be the minimum but ironically the FA will use their own racist double standards and not give him as many games because hes English.
Controversial.......With the FA case, as opposed to the Court, the outcome rides on the balance of probability and considering the ruling from the Magistrate and his scepticism of Mr Terry's evidence, I wouldn't be backing an aquittal.
Id agree 100% but its the FA. Look at what they did with the Derry sending off at OT or the Barton ban for the phantom headbutt. Reality doesnt seem to matter to them. Both were 100% clear but cases (of innocence this time) but they still got it wrong.
True, theres been a lot of pressure been applied to them from black footballers, they even threatened to start up their own PFA and that will not look good. I still struggle to think they will do the right thing and even if he is guilty, I expect them to fudge it and give him 2-3 games or a suspended ban or something, i will be gobsmacked if its harsher than then Suarez ban.
Right, I don't know.My guess is they will go in hard. However, if he's found not guilty or gets less punishment than Suarez, I'll get you a pint. If he gets the same or more than Suarez, you get me a pint. I'm over at the Southampton game.
