Pullout with the Sunday Mirror shows Terry Butcher's predictions for the coming season and he has tipped us for the drop along with QPR and Blackburn. He also thinks Swansea and Norwich will be top 10. Wonder what he had been smoking before the interview.

If he could give a good reason why that would be the outcome at the end of the season it would at least be an interesting read because I bet the odds on that outcome would be looooooonnnnnggggggg....

From the players they've been buying it looks to me that they're building a team to just scrape safety or be relegated but strong enough to bounce straight back as they'll make more money. Norwich have a front 3 of Holt, Vaughan & Morrison. If they can get top 10 with that strike force i'll happily enough back us to win the league, both cups and even the rugby world cup if we have a spare few weeks. Swansea again terrible strike force, Sinclair i can see being like Routledge good in the championship but **** in the premiership. QPR, Blackburn, Norwich, Swansea, Wigan, Wolves & Bolton have worse teams than us. Possibility of Stoke, Everton & Fulham having bad seasons as well.
Highly unlikely they'll finish top 10. I think both Swansea and Norwich have excellent managers though (better than our own) and could very well stay up. Terry has red and white in him so will be looking to launch into us. Obviously we have some disharmony behind the scenes due to the owner/chairmans business policies/methods, but I don't think that should mean players won't put the effort in on the pitch. They are getting paid to do a job, they should do it and show the fans who turn up a bit of respect.
