I'm only here for the short term, I want Ash to take his title back when he recovers.

 

I can't help but wonder if some people are unhappy about this and this is what's actually being discussed on another thread without any of us realising it? It wouldn't surprise me.

i asked for volunteers, never volunteered 12 hours befors FFS, PGF was fine with valley, i cant wait forever to get to brb with names if that makes sense

Actually that's not quite true is it ? What never said was that he was willing to do it but that PGF and I should be considered first. PGF and myself had previously volunteered to put the extra hours in to help the board along with yourself. After the debacle of the vote that was influenced by outsiders, brb said we were not big enough to have 4 mods but could get along with 2. Hence YOU were elected .

Now unfortunately Ash has some problems which God willing he will recover from, but there remains the question of modding this board. Valley put his name forward, in the same spirit no doubt , as I and PGF . So what has changed ? Has PGF 's devotion to to this forum wained ? No it hasn't! Nor has mine ! Never, stated He was willing to help out but that we should be considered first. You arbitrarily decided on Valley , then you say that Never put his hand up 12 hours before me, yet you say in a pm that a coin was tossed that decided Never would Mod. I only put my name forward to help the board out previously, then again when this tradegy happened.

It was Dai, who to be honest I've had cross words with, but openly admit I like the old bugger as he can be fiercely loyal ( too a fault mind Dai ) put me and I believe he meant PGF's forward as Mods .

Both PGF and I put our names forward in good faith, and the usual thing is to ask the ones who were actually supported to be mods previously if they would help out albeit on a tempopray basis.

So now we have 4 mods please tell me what has PGF or I done to be overlooked are we tainted for some reason. I know PGF to be an honest individual that supports this board whole heartedly as do I what have we done to be treated so shabbily by you?

PGF and Ffs want to be mods full time don't you? whereas the two that have been elected only want to help and once Chico is back I'm sure they'll be stepping down. I think it would be harsh to give PGF and FFS the mod position, only to take it away from them later on.

 

FFS, do me a favour mate, can this wait a bit please until we get Ash in the all clear ?

It looks like some serious lying has been done and some political manoeuvres taking place behind the scenes.

I just feel for the sake of the board that this should be continued when ash is out of the woods as I fear this debate will escalate. I know you're angry and I don't blame you one bit. I think that many posters will feel the same way when they realise the dodgy dealings going on behind closed doors.

 

Shogs, both PGF and FFS said a while ago they would do it. I think it's fair to say that just about everyone on this board would have expected them to step in. Instead what we've had recently is a mod voted in by QPR fans and now two mods no one was expecting. As I've said Neveroff is a mate in fact I got him cup final tickets and he knows that I think he's a top bloke so it's nothing personal.

As I've said though now is not the time lets get Ash well first before any questions get asked.

 

Yes it can Dilli, to be honest, I didn't want to bring this up at this time bit it really got my goat what was going on. I want Ash back but I know his isn't a 24 hour problem, the Guy needs rest and recuperation and away from this ****.

BUT what I wanted from this band of brothers as it were, is honesty and integrity no two faced Cr*p or bulls*t nor any fannying about , just debate a laugh and a joke and someone to tell those visitors of ours that a line in the sand has been drawn, so don't come on this board to give Swans supporters grief and no one to badmouth our own!



Sadly for me this isn't happening at the present time!

Why all this about being moderators ? I've done it here I would never do it again as its to much hassle. All this I asked for it first, he asked for it before the other guy, other fans were interrupting a vote.

It's just a forum guys, there's a whole lot of life out there to live, yes it can be an interesting diversion at times, but you truly want to come here and have all this grief ? I only posted here in the last couple of days because Ash is a good guy, and I wanted to support him however small here.

I just think being a moderator just makes your net experience more of a headache, I come here now and then and just read instead of posting as all the shenanigans around a pointless position is very tedious.

All the arguments are making swans fans on here look like little children who throws their toys out of the pram, people looking in on this will think how petulant and trivial we are.

 

C'mon guys get a grip. Ash is going to get better and will be back on here - you want him to see this sort of crap again.Maybe it's time we set a term for mods and those who aspire to the position can put their name forward - it shouldn't be difficult to totally disregard outsiders - I'd help with the count. As I said earlier the a**hole that causes us to need a mod needs to be banned straight away - if what has happened doesn't put things in perspective for you and realize that it's not all about you then I feel sorry for you. Whatever has been said/done in PMs and behind the scenes is just that - hidden - so let's either tell everyone about it or not mention it again - it's just a little like people whispering secrets to their friends in the school yard.
Like Jager I have been reading religously for a while but didn't really start posting until the bullshot started recently. So com'n guys for the sake of the Swans - let's move on - post if you want don't if you don't want to but let's not get back into the mess we were.

 

this is getting to be a ****ing joke, never and valley are temp mods until Ash gets well enough, when he is back i will ask brb to get another fulltime mod which will be either ffs or pgf, no voting, his choice. i hope this clarifies the situation. this site should not need mods if everyone acted responsibly

 

To be fair, I think they already have moved on, their posts have said as much. They have also stated, out of respect for Ash, this is not required to be debated further today.


Therefore, no need for anyone else to comment on their comments. If you insist on doing so, then its pots calling kettles black, as you are just pouring petrol onto the flames.

If you want to PM them, go ahead. Its by far the best option in light of recent events.

 

this sort of bickering isn't needed now and we should all be pulling together to get behind Ash, not fighting between ourselves, thread closed
