Danny Simpson returns from his suspension. N'Golo Kante came off against Norwich with a slight knock but he should be alright for the game. So here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    Simpson
    Huth
    Morgan
    Fuchs

    Mahrez
    King
    Drinkwater
    Albrighton

    Ulloa
    Vardy

Subs- Schwarzer, Amartey, Wasilewski, Inler, Schlupp, Gray, Okazaki

Ulloa or Okazaki is maybe the only question. I´m sure simpson will be back after a good rest.

Agree Proud. Amarty didn't do enough to keep the shirt (not a criticism, he'll come good) so Simpson back. Also I'd give Leo a start and bring Okazaki on later to chase tired legs

I think he'll go back to the same starting line up as against Arsenal to start with.. West Brom's big lump defenders would prefer playing against Ulloa rather than the non-stop tricky Okazaki ..

Thought Amartey made an impressive debut yesterday all things considered.. :)

I think Amartey looked a good player but lacked the positional skills to play right back

Okazaki didn't do enough IMO to keep the shirt and with Ulloa scoring i think he deserves a start. Or another option would be give Mahrez a free role behind Vardy and start either Demarai Gray or Jeff Schlupp

Amartey unsurprusingly played like a RB wasnt his normal position so should be dropped.

Add for Okazaki vs Ulloa - Ulloa isn't a good no 10 so unless Vardy drops back I would stick with Okazaki for the first half at least.

Personally I thought Shinji played well .. he is very adept at drawing fouls in and around the box which we will need against West Brom ... and that piece of skill where he took that spiralling high ball down first half was exquisite ..also the improvisation from the Vardy pull back ..

I agree FF - play him and tire the defence. Ulloa is quite slow but is very effective against a defence already knackered by 70 or 80 minutes of Vardy and Okazaki (which is exactly what happened yesterday.)

Okazaki and Simpson in for me, more familiarity in the squad hopefully will lead to a better performance than Saturday.

Disagree Proud. I think Okazaki did well and showed some wonderful touches more than deserves to keep his place and will be surprised if he doesn't even though Ulloa got a goal.
Bring Simpson back in for sure
Going to be another dire game I expect with Pulis setting his team up in the large bus across the back line.
Fancy this will be a draw 1-1

Early reports is that Kante has a slight hamstring strain - will most likely be rested.

If so, who would go in instead - have the choice of King, Inler, James and Amartey.

.. if I've read things right I think may have had the problem before the Norwich game ... Amartey or Inler would be the more natural replacements if needed .. Amartey can't half shift by the way ... couple of supporting forays on Saturday showed that he has blistering pace ...

Amartey for me, we need someone defensive minded that can put a shift in seeming we only play 2 central, i don't think Inler will be in if King was the sub on Saturday.

Whats Esteban doing these days ... <whistle>

Kanté is likely to be out for the next 2 games according to Ranieri at today's press conference.

Has to be King. Scored the all important goal against WHU last season that started this amazing run. He doesnt let us down when the pressure is on, and has a long standing relationship playing alongside DD.

King would work well against defensive opposition I think - Kante is superb but he isn't very attack minded while King is more of a traditional box to box midfielder and will help when we are grinding opposition down rather then quickly breaking.

Ranieri has confirmed Kante will miss 2 games so Andy King will come in with Gokhan Inler on the bench

Would prefer Matty James to Inler (Carmine - dont be jealous).
