Noted that Kit didn't use any substitutions in the second half. Is this a first? Do you reckon he learned a lesson from the Charlton farce?
The turning point in the game was the clearance off the line from a corner when we were 3-2 up. If that had gone in would the confidence have gone in the team and we start to panic ? Then shortly after we got the 4th. Thought Reading turned a bit nasty and the Ref let them get away with stuff. But then again thought the spat Kacaniklic had, woke him up and seemed to spark him to play with more agression than he usually has.
I didn't get a chance to post over the weekend but have to say winning 4-2 after being 2-0 down adds that bit extra. So what happened ? - I think a turning point was when Richards went off injured and replaced by Kaca and Fredericks dropping back. I think from then we were stronger and I know we went another one down after that but our play was better. We also swapped Kaca then at half time to the other side with LVC and seemed better again. I've given Kit a bit of stick in the past for not changing things when needed so got to praise him for this change. It paid off so credit to him.
Thanks Cottager a great angle for the goals, a totally different view to what I get from the riverside stand.
I have just managed to sit down and watch the Reading 90 minutes and I just want to say what a class player Tom Cairny is..... I know it was his mistake that led to the second goal but he then played a part in all three of Fulhams crazy 5 minutes. He just does the simple things so well, the couple of things that jumped out at me could be easily missed but were 1. When he got the ball for Fulhams second goal most players would have played it straight out yo LVC but Cairney turned inside unexpectedly causing all of Readings defenders to change direction and step inside, having done this he then played it out to LVC who was now in acres of space. 2. The pace of his pass to Dembele for Kaca's goal was just perfect, if he under hits that Dembele can't lay it off first time, if he over hits it Dembele then had a much harder technique to perform but it was perfect Made it so easy for Dembele just to lay it off
